About Center

The Community Service and Continuing Education Center was established in 1976-1977 as a gateway for the university to the community and is one of the centers affiliated with the Vice President for Academic Support Services.

As an integral part of Kuwait University, the center stands as a prestigious academic institution representing the nation and its institutions. It adheres to a forward-looking vision based on excellence in science and education, aiming to be a leader in higher education with the highest global standards. The center utilizes all available resources and capabilities at Kuwait University to enhance scientific and cognitive abilities, meeting the needs of the training job market. Additionally, it focuses on developing and utilizing creativity, skills, and capabilities to contribute to sustainable development while adhering to values of cooperation, innovation, teamwork, leadership, and protocol cooperation with various academic entities to offer exceptional courses.

The center is dedicated to providing community services, continuing education, and scientific, cultural, and recreational experiences to students and all community sectors in Kuwait. Its history of delivering training courses is distinguished and notable, starting from the 1970s, and it remains exceptional and progressive in teaching foreign and Arabic languages.

The center also holds the permanent presidency of the Committee of Deans of Community Service and Continuing Education Centers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and coordinates with its counterparts through regular meetings and the issuance of various publications.

We, in turn, utilize all available resources and capabilities at Kuwait University to enhance scientific and cognitive abilities and provide offerings that meet the needs of the training job market. Additionally, we focus on developing and utilizing creativity, skills, and capabilities to contribute to sustainable development while adhering to values of cooperation, innovation, teamwork, leadership, and protocol cooperation with various academic entities to offer distinguished programs.
